If you’re like me, you like to know which ones of our jobs are the most boring. I’m sure a lot of the time you do get bored because you don’t get to do any of that cool stuff that you really want to do.
And that’s what we mean by boring by comparison with our other jobs.
Sure there are jobs that are not boring. But the average hours of those jobs are almost exactly how much you are paid.
If youre making the average hourly wage for your job, the way you have to do it all the time, it means that you have to spend at least as much time working as you do on the average job. Now, you might be getting a nice pay check for a lot of your time spent at your job, but you still have the job. So you have to put in an average of 3300 hours a year to make that pay.
If you want to be paid enough that it’s like a minimum wage, then you have to spend at least as much time working as you do on the average job, but if you want to be paid enough that it’s like a minimum wage, then you have to spend at least as much time working as you do on the average job.
In order to earn the minimum wage, you have to put in 28.86 hours a year. If you want to get paid more than that, then you have to put in 30.35 hours of overtime. That’s two extra hours of work a week.
To put that in perspective, a minimum wage worker would need to be able to go to work everyday, put in 40 hours a week, and still have some money left over.
